The Perfect Breakfast For All Coffee Lovers Out There!

The one's who know me know that I am a breakfast lover! I never leave the house without my morning breakfast and my coffee (even though I try every ones in a while to omit the latter). And combined it gets even better. This delicious coffee oat recipe is pure heaven. Our classic overnight oats are infused with a delicious coffee shot, topped with additional plant-milk foam, hazelnut butter and raw cacao nibs. And to naturally sweeten the mix, a handful Medjool dates are cut into tiny chunks and added to create the perfect, naturally sweet breakfast, which, in my opinion, could also be served as a dessert. Where Can You Find The Perfect Ingredients To Make This Recipe Taste Like Heaven

Recipes thrive from the ingredients we use, especially raw recipes and recipes with reduced fat and sugar which are the classic flavor carries in conventional recipes. Therefore, start saving when it comes to high-quality ingredients. Not only your taste buds will thank you, your health will as well eventually! For this recipe I used:

- Coffee from Moxxa - my favorite roaster in the world. Their espresso is the best! (100% unpaid)

- Organic Medjool Dates from - As I've been working with them I pretty much know their entire portfolio. The Medojool dates are amazing.

- Cacao Nibs. I currently use these organic raw Cacao beans either hulled and crushed or as whole beans

I don't have any particular recommendations for plant-milk, oats, flax seeds & hazelnut butter as I also go with different brands every time. The only thing I recommend is to choose organic if possible.

Is It Necessary To Serve Oats In A Glass Like I Did?

Absolutely no! I just used this wonderful dessert drink glas because it has been sitting on my food prop shelve forever without being used. But my fair point here - the recipe tastes amazing. You could even served it as a dessert or a brunch dish. And for those "use cases", my wonderful champaign glass has it's reason for being!

My pro tip for prepping overnight oats btw is to just use any simple bowl for the soaking process and transfer the mix right before serving into your preferred serving this. That way you ensure to always have your favorite plates available and avoid risking any damage from placing it into the fridge, or similar.

Coffee Oats With Raw Cacao Nib Crunch
The ultimate recipe for all coffee, oat and cacao lovers. In this recipe the classic overnight oats are infused with a delicious coffee shot, topped with additional plant-milk foam and raw cacao nibs. And to sweeten the mix, a handful Medjool dates are cut into tiny chunks and added to create the perfect, naturally sweet breakfast which could also be served as a dessert if you ask for my personal opinion.
    • -
      120g Oats
    • -
500ml Plant Milk (Almond or Oat Milk)
    • -
2 Tsp Flax Seeds (ground is important for better digestion & recipe texture)
    • -
2 Espresso Shots (each with approx. 25ml Espresso)
    • -
Additional Plant Milk Foamed (foamed with coffee if desired)
    • -
2 Dates per Glas (cut into small chunks)
    • -
      Handful Cacao Nibs
    • -
Optional: Hazelnut Butter (always 100% pure)
  1. Combine the oats, plant milk and the ground flax seeds in a bowl and let mix rest in your fridge overnight.
  2. Take the mix out of the fridge the next morning, separate the mix into two portions and add half of the espresso shot to each of the glasses. Do the same with the dates (1 date per glass). Mix well with a spoon.
  3. If you haven't placed the oats into a serving dish, do it now. Thereafter, top both glasses with the remaining 1/2 espresso shot and with the prepared milk foam. Add the cacao nibs, the rest of the dates as well as the optional hazelnut butter.
  4. That's it. Enjoy!
