Healthy Sugarfree Current-Chia Jam With Bourbon Vanilla

Start Your Day With A Wholesome Sugarfree Breakfast & Glow

Is there anything better in this world than starting the day with a perfectly healthy, delicious and beautiful breakfast? Maybe even in bed? To me, this sounds like the perfect world. However, even when I don't manage to enjoy my breakfast peacefully in bed, I try to make it wholesome and tasty. A brilliant staple for this is homemade chia-jam which can be topped over everything within seconds in the morning. I mix my chia-jam in breakfast bowls, top it on a slice of bread and sometimes I even it it just by itself as a healthy alternative to a sugary sweet. Curious to try, read on!

A Perfect Breakfast Is One That Isn't Only Beautiful To Look At But Also Healthy & Full Of Flavor!

What You Need To Make This Delicious Sugarfree Currant-Chia Jam

For the jam itself you only need three ingredients: Currants, Chia and Bourbon Vanilla. I highly recommend you to use a high-quality vanilla though (even though it's super expensive). It has an immense impact on the flavor of the sugarfree jam. My favorite Vanilla is the following. (There's no cooperation. I just absolutely love the product quality). And for the chia, feel free to use any organic chia you can find in a local store.

To prep your jam on top of a wholegrain slice of bread, you additionally need yoghurt, hazelnuts, hazelnut butter and additional fresh currents. And of course, the bread itself. I usually bulk purchase my nuts and seeds from 1001Frucht.de for convenience and quality and the fresh produce from a local farmer's market. The yoghurt was also from a nearby supermarket. The only thing I recommend paying attention to when purchasing vegan (coconut or soy yoghurt) is the nutritional label. Make sure it is as short as possible and without any unnecessary additives. A go-to for my German followers is this one, for example.
